Barrick Gold
Site architecture included a CMS employees could use to update the site with news and financials.
The Challenge
Barrick Gold, the world’s largest Gold Mining Company needed to update and refresh their web presence to properly reflect the company’s size and scope. The site had last been updated before the advent of social media, so in partnership with Saatchi & Saatchi we were tasked with designing, and writing a new site that better reflected the transparent nature of the company.
Our Solution
In order to engage site visitors and highlight Barrick’s strengths, a site was designed that highlighted the organization’s substantial international presence. Site architecture included a CMS employees could use to update the site with news and financials, while an updated graphic look gave the company a friendly, approachable brand personality.
Throughout, beautiful large-scale imagery was used to provide each page with a strong focal point and help draw visitors into the world of Barrick Gold. The site also featured a real-time job availability counter – and guess what? They’re hiring!
