Each visit to the site offered a unique experience by randomly compiling a collection of stories into a real time documentary.
Keeping things a bit unpredictable makes life interesting. That unpredictability however, can often lead to misunderstandings. That’s the everyday reality for people living with Tourette Syndrome. To help generate awareness, Pixelpusher was asked to find an interesting and engaging way to showcase 30 short films about people living with the condition. The goal was to find a way to tell the true story of sufferers in a way that could mimic the disorder’s unpredictable nature.
The result was @Random. Starting with a collection of shorts about people with Tourette’s, the site created a series of unique and unpredictable experiences for visitors. Each time someone visited the site, they were presented with a new set of stories, compiled in a random order to create a real-time documentary. Not only did the site generate valuable awareness for Tourette Syndrome, it was shortlisted by TheFWA. (We love when that happens.)
